The menu boasts standouts like the Turkish wrap, generously filled with chicken, avocado, cheese, tomato, and lettuce—all for just $10. Customer John McNeill noted that it’s packed with flavors, noting that the only minor hiccup was the thickness of the chicken, which sometimes needed a bit more love from the grill.
For breakfast enthusiasts, the Big Brekky has gained a loyal following. Cameron Mackie characterized the Turkish Special as a must-try, whether you're in a rush or have time to savor every bite. The breakfast offerings cater to all, ensuring that no one leaves hungry.
And let’s not forget about the revered potato scallops. John McNeill raves about them, calling them the best in the area. Made from real, homemade ingredients and sliced thin before being perfectly battered, these scallops are a delightful contrast to the rich flavors of the diner’s main dishes.
As you sip on a good cup of coffee, freshly brewed and expertly crafted, you can't help but feel that Homestead Diner embodies a cozy, welcoming atmosphere that encourages connection and comfort. Best value for money I've found in the wacol area so far. $10 fir a Turkish full of lots if chicken, avo, cheese, tomato and lettuce. Only slight negative was chicken was so thick it didn't heat all the way through. Potato scallops are the best I've found in the area. Well most if Brisbane. Real home made, thin cut and battered.
